The Christos (Christ Spirit) has already come, but let's talk about what it might look like and how we might respond if JESUS, the MAN were to return at a different time, in a different culture: maybe a time like today. What would things look like or appear if Jesus came in February of 2010- having been born around 1980 (got it)? :-)
Obviously (I hope it is) Jesus wouldn't be speaking to us in terms of laborers in the vineyard (unless we're talking Napa Valley), nor using agricultural metaphors.
The metaphors that Jesus would use would come from physics, biology, geometry, chemistry, and psychology to name a few. How would we respond to such a message-based environment wherein Jesus spoke of energy, consciousness, vibration, resonance, and of course LOVE?
>Would we see the message as a threat?
>Would we attempt to silence the messenger?
>Would we argue that our 2,000 year old traditions were the only orthodox ways?
>Would we persecute him, as they did then?
>Would we rail against a message that contradicted our long-standing doctrines?

In the words of Kim Michaels, "The material universe can exist only because there is a constant stream of energy from the spiritual realm. As spiritual energy flows into this universe, it is lowered in vibration. Can there be any doubt that those who hear this message would reject it"? Of course we don't know that's what Jesus would say, but this I feel fairly confident about.
Jesus renounced the world view of 2,000 years ago, and he would do the same today!
I pray that we'd not respond the same! Sadly, we still are in many ways- already.
